July 21, 2008 - Wireshark patch to decrypt weak SSL connections released, developed by Luciano Bello and Maximiliano Bertacchini in collaboration with Paolo Abeni.
This patch extends Wireshark allowing it to decrypt SSL connections when one of the parties is running a vulnerable Debian OpenSSL package, described in DSA-1571-1. It was submitted for revision to the Wireshark development team.

May 13, 2008 - Debian discloses an OpenSSL flaw discovered by Luciano Bello, a Debian developer and Si6 researcher. The flaw, which was introduced two years ago, makes the OpenSSL pseudorandom number generator (PRNG) predictable in Debian and derivative distributions (Ubuntu, Kubuntu, etc). The Debian Security Team strongly recommends updating this package and regenerating all the affected cryptographic keys (OpenSSH, OpenVPN, etc). November 5, 2007 - CIBSI'07 From 25th to 28th November will be held the Iberoamerican Congress of Information Security CIBSI'07 in Mar del Plata, Argentina. August 28, 2006 - September 01, 2006 - Wassenaar Arrangement security consultancy at Viena. From August 28 to September 01, in response to a request from the Wassenaar Arrangement Secretariat, Carlos Benitez, head of the Si6 Labs, gave advice on the security of the Arrangement Information System at the headquarters of the organization located in Viena.

One of the talks will be given by one of the Si6 team members, Sebastián García, on October 4. May 30, 2005: Kevin Mitnick visited SI6 Labs. During his conference trip to Argentina, computer security expert Kevin Mitnick had an informal, off the record meeting with the SI6 staff. Thoughts and points of view were exchanged about varied research related topics. In addition, a relationship arose between Kevin and the SI6 team.
